The intriguing story behind the creation and subsequent life of Chopin's posthumously published, emotive piece for solo piano: the Lento con gran espressione.
Subjective & objective studies of nuance in musical expression
Chopin's last published Mazurka provides a goldmine for comparison of nuances in musical expressivity, here across 5 different performers. There is clearly scope for research on more optimal acoustic features and analysis parameters.
